Abstract

This collection contains various materials pertaining to research conducted and donated by Sharon Jones Revell. The research conducted includes materials on genealogy, will and land records for Worcester and Somerset Counties during the mid-1980s. Also included are materials on the Purnell family, and various historic corn and grain mills throughout the Delmarva and Western Maryland region. Multiple rough edits of her will abstract transcription collection are also included.

Biographical History

Sharon Jones Revell was a former Graduate Assistant at the Nabb Center from 1988 to 1989, and had received her MA in History. In addition to her academic achievements, she had also published a series of transcriptions of Worcester and Somerset County wills, will abstracts, and land record information.
