Abstract

This collection contains one issue of the Dutch underground newspaper, Vrij Nederland (Free Netherlands), which was printed circa 1942 during the German occupation of Holland in the Second World War. It contains translated text sections welcoming allied soldiers and cartoons including one of Adolf Hitler crying.
