Abstract

The records of Wayne Dresser Industries is a booklet that chronicles the story of the Wayne Division of Dresser Industries, once located in Salisbury, Maryland. The booklet, published in 1991, formulates the development of the company in 1891 through their growth into the city of Salisbury. The company is known for their self-measuring oil pumps for kerosene and gasoline.

Administrative History

Wayne Division, of Dresser Industries, was located in Salisbury, Maryland, and once home to the marketing and manufacturing headquarters of Wayne Dresser for over fifty years. 

Wayne Fueling Systems is a global fuel dispenser manufacturer for retail and fleet applications, Wayne is leading the way with technological advances on multiple fronts, from eco-fuel solutions and regulation-compliant pay-at-the-pump security to multimedia marketing and groundbreaking site control systems.
