Abstract

Series of black and white photographic prints acquired by Irma Jean Dodd-McNelia; the prints feature local Salisbury, Maryland residents in their daily life including trips to the beach and within their homes. The photographs were taken between 1950 and 1955 and some of the residents include Dorothy Hopkins, JoAnne Phillips, Iris Merritt Webster, Marianna Rounds, Ann Faith Hill and Johnny Merritt.

Biographical History

Irma Jean Dodd McNelia,(b. 1939), was born in New York to Walter and Irma Dodd; at a young age, she moved with her family to Maryland.
