Abstract

Azariah C. Pusey photograph collection documents the life and death of Azariah C. Pusey, who served as a Private in the 1st Maryland Cavalry of the Confederate Army. The collection includes photographs of his tombstone and a portrait of Pusey. Images were created in 2014.

Biographical History

Azariah C. Pusey was born on December 29, 1842, to John Pusey and Lydia Hearn and died on May 25, 1924. He was Pvt. Co. E. of the 1st Maryland Cavalry of the Confederate States Army. Azariah C married Julia Emily Parsons and had 2 children.
