Abstract

The Frank A. Baker Collection contains contains ephemera from the production of "On Golden Pond" preformed by the Community Players of Salisbury. There are also passenger lists, and a travel guide regarding Frank Baker's travel for this performance. There are also certificates relating to Frank Baker, for appreciations and to teach about alcoholism. There are also photograph of family members of Frank Baker.

Biographical History

Frank Baker spent time in an acting troop, served in the military, had a family and enjoyed the company of dachshunds.  Possible his military career was during the 1940's since the military uniforms, wood finished rifles and vessels appear to be WWII era, in conjunction with the fact that the military photographs are in black and white.  Frank Baker also was in a play "On Golden Pond" and was a reformed alcoholic who helped others overcome their problems with alcohol.
