Abstract

Hand-made copy books written by brothers John and William Camper of Talbot County. The two books written from 1820-1827 and 1823-1840 document the brother's education in arithmetic, including their lessons and notes in numeration, subtraction, multiplication, long division, decimals, and the use of federal money.

Biographical History

John Camper and William Camper were natives of Talbot County, Maryland who were born on the plantation named Larrimore's Addition.
