Abstract

The collection consists of a report on the Somerset County Chesapeake Bay Critical Area Program. The report on conservation and development was prepared by the firms of Rogers, Golden & Halperin and Reman/Johnston & Associates, and published in 1987.

Administrative History

The Somerset County Chesapeake Bay Critical Area Program was developed in accordance with the Chesapeake Bay Critical Area Law, enacted by the Maryland General Assembly in 1984. The goals of the program were: to improve water quality; to conserve plants, wildlife and fish; and to manage development and pollution in Somerset County, Maryland.
