Abstract

Property records of St. Giles, a Federal style home located near Hebron, Wicomico County, Maryland; the records document the property's chain of ownership through copies of original land records and research notes created by Anne Morris Clay in 1982 for a historic property inventory for the Maryland Historic Trust and the National Trust of Historic Places.

Administrative History

St. Giles is a historic home located at Hebron, Wicomico County, Maryland, United States. It is a 2 1/2-story frame Federal period farmhouse built in the early 19th century, with a 20th-century hyphen and wing. Also on the property are several outbuildings, including a well house, wood house, tenant house, barn, garage, and pool house. The landscaped grounds include a garden which is thought to retain its original early-19th-century layout.
