Abstract

This collection contains a photocopy of a schoolbook created by John Whitney, a majority of the pages contain John Whitney's mathematical scholastic efforts; however, a number of pages contain economic transactions. The copy of the book was created in 2000, the original ledger dates from 1809-1810.

Biographical History

John Whitney, Coventry Parish, Rehoboth, Someret County, Maryland, was the brother of Drusilla Whitney Green.
