Abstract

The Charles T. Fooks papers are the product of years of Fooks family genealogical research, 1977-1993, focusing on the Maryland and Virginia regions of Delmarva. The work, compiled primarily by Margaret Ellen Johnson-Fooks, includes Fooks connections to other families such as the Adkins, Downs, Johnson and Townsend families.

Biographical History

Charles T. Fooks Sr. was born on January 8, 1954 to Samuel Lee Fooks and Myrtle Marvel Fooks and raised on Maryland’s Eastern Shore; the Fooks family has a strong lineage on the Delmarva Peninsula.  Charles and his sister-in-law, Margaret Ellen Johnson-Fooks, spent many years dedicated to genealogical research of the families. Today, Charles T. Fooks resides in Salisbury, Maryland.
