In a series of interviews of local Eastern Shore residents in 1991, Salisbury University students and teachers collected folk life material. For this collection, Cheryl Phillips chose to conduct a fieldwork on the folk group of female dorm residents. These interviews pertains to the social life of these students within their dorms. Among the folklore collected are rituals, jokes, and personal stories. Most interviews include a short description of the informant.
