In 1997, former Salisbury University student Warren Swab collected folk material. His collection explores his grandfather's experience with the Boy Scouts of America and his grandfather's collection of Native American artifacts, encompassing two folkgroups. Included is Swab's essay, a cassette tape interview (tape log included), and color photo album.

Folklife Collection - Pennsylavnia Dutch Powwowing

In 1993, former Salisbury University student Justin Morris collected folk material. This collection focuses on Powwowing or the Pennsylvania Dutch approach to folk medicine using magic and faith healing to cure diseases. This paper describes the common practices used by powwow doctors (amulets, chants, herbs, etc.) and provides examples of incantations. It is noteworthy to mention that, according to the main informant Ruth Krieble, these incantation had a poetic rhyme but this characteristic was lost when they were translated from German.

Folklife Collection - The Broken Web [Honors thesis]

This piece by Elizabeth Miller constitutes a thesis and literary critic covering several themes relating to Native Americans, including their literature, quest of identity, the misconceptions associated to them and more. It analyzes the complex culture of Native American clans and their place in America. It also sheds light, among other things, on how Native Americans struggle to reconnect to their native culture as well as the impacts of legislation, or lack thereof, supposed to protect their rights.
