In a series of interviews of local Eastern Shore residents in 1992, Salisbury University students and teachers collected folk life material. For this project, student Joel Carrier chose to interview a Baltimore City Policeman he met in the army. The paper tells the story of Officer Jim Holford, who served during the Vietnam, war, and describes a typical day in the life of a policeman in Baltimore City while explaining some common jargon terms.
