Folklife Collection - Heart to Heart

In a series of interviews of local Eastern Shore residents in 1994, Salisbury University students and teachers collected folk life material. For this project, Dana Peterson chose to perform a 4-week fieldwork at the Cardiac Rehabilitation Center of PRMC (Peninsula Regional Medical Center). She socialized with the participants during their workout sessions and collected various folklore during their interactions (beliefs, attitudes in life, jokes, personal narratives, xerox). The student also photographed the group and the facilities. Slides, humorous cartoons, and magazine articles enclosed.
