In a series of interviews of local Eastern Shore residents during the years of 1970 to 1972, former Salisbury University students and faculty Karen Beckwith, Cathy Wright, and K. Jeanette Robbins collected folk legends. For this collection, these interviews focus on various stories of the strange events that occurred at the haunted house; Shoal Creek Manor located in Cambridge, Maryland. Most interviews include personal descriptions of the interviewer and informant, and the story.
