In 1988, former Salisbury University Student Douglass Mock collected folk material. His collection focuses on the folklore around sign language. His main informant was his brother, who has been hearing impaired since birth. In addition to a transcript of their interview, the student accompanied his paper by some photographs of his brother demonstrating a sentence using both Signed English and American Sign Language. Tape and photographs enclosed.
