In a series of interviews with local Eastern Shore residents during the years of 1970, former Salisbury University student Annette Smith collected folk material. For this collection, these interviews focus on various Eastern Shore Folklore such as grandmas' cures, animals, superstitions, various supernatural tales, and Sussex sayings. This collection also includes an introduction to the collection and various pamphlets. Most interviews include personal descriptions of the interviewer and informant, and the story.
