The Anne Rapp Collection documents the retiree's international travel between 1949 and 1974, primarily in the 1950s and 1960s. Rapp kept the schedules (itineraries), maps and guides, postcards, and ephemera for her travel around the world. She also kept detailed journals and took over 8000 color photographic slides. Places she traveled include Alaska, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, several Caribbean islands, Great Britain, Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, several eastern bloc countries, Australia, New Zealand, several Pacific Islands, India, Japan, Israel, China, Rhodesia (Zimbabwe), South Africa, and Ethiopia.

Jeanne Severance Letters

This collection consists of letters from Jeanne Severance, a Red Cross volunteer, to Martha and Constance Greene from 1945 to 1946. Severance wrote from and reported on events in the many places she served, which included France, India, China, Myanmar, and Mexico. Several letters were censored by the United States Army. Also included are photographs of the Greenes in 1962 and some newspaper clippings. At the time, the Greenes had opened the office of Martha Greene real estate company on Long Island in Montauk, New York; there are several pictures of Martha in front of the original offices. The transcription of the letters is attached.

National Parks Photograph Album

This photograph album contains 254 photographs documenting travel throughout North America between 1920 and 1935, especially in national parks. While 57 photographs are professional prints sold to tourists, the remaining 197 were taken by the album owner. Included in the identified photographs are Yellowstone and Glacier Parks; Bismark and Rugby in North Dakota; Black Hills, South Dakota (including one of Mount Rushmore under construction); Hot Springs, Arkansas; Brackenbridge Park, San Antonio, Rio Grand Valley, Brownsville, Corpus Christi, and Galveston in Texas; Miami and Daytona Beach in Florida; Georgia; Chattanooga, Tennessee; Monterrey, Mexico; Colorado Springs, Colorado; Grand Canyon in Arizona; Clermont, Iowa; and Los Angeles, Imperial Valley, San Francisco, Coronado Island, San Diego, and Pasadena in California (including the 1920 Rose Bowl parade).
