In a series of interviews of local Eastern Shore residents during the years of 1971 to 1972, former Salisbury University student Anne Brooks collected folk legends. For this collection, these interviews focus on various stories of events that took place in Trappe, Maryland. Two of the main stories were about a Bank Robbery and a Rape Case. Most interviews include personal descriptions of the interviewer and informant, and the story.
