In a series of interviews of local Eastern Shore residents during the years of 1970 to 1973, former Salisbury University students and professors collected folk legends. For this collection, these interviews focus on various stories of ghosts, strange events, and other supernatural legends that occurred somewhere on the Western Shore of Maryland or in another location. Most interviews include personal descriptions of the interviewer and informant, and the story.
