| Transaction Abstract | John Henry Lake, Negro, 8 yo on 1 May last past brought into Orphans' Court and is not at service, learning a trade, or employed in service of parents and is without suffiecient means for his support. The Justices assigned him to be bound as apprentice to James H. Lowe until he arrives at age 21. Lowe is to teach him the trade of farmer, supply him with suitable clothing & maintenance & when free to give him $20 & 2 suits of clothes as freedom dues, as well as to give him additional $25 in lieu of education.
