Transaction Abstract William Hardcastle 7 yo on 16 March last past, free Negro boy , brought into Orphans Court is not at service, learning a trade or in service of his parents, by order of Justices of Court is bound as apprentice to Nathan Williams until Hardcastle arrives to age 21. Williams agrees to teach apprentice the trade of farmer, supply him with suitable clothing & maintenance & when free to give him $20 plus an additional $25 in lieu of education as freedom dues. Signed 13 Oct 1857.
