Transaction Abstract Mary Ellen Nicols 8 yo, Negro girl, is brought to Court & it is determined that she's not in service, learning a trade, or employed in service of her partents & is without means of support. The Justices of Orphans' Court apprentice her to Zachariah Skinner until she is 16 yo. Skinner to teach her plain service and housework & supply her with suitable clothing & maintenance. When free, she is to receive $10 & 2 suits of clothing plus, in lieu of education, she is to receive $10 additional in freedom dues.
