| Transaction Abstract | Williamina Jackson 6 yo, Negro girl, is brought to Court & it is determined that she's not at service or learning a trade or employed in service of her parents so is without means of support. The Justices of Orphans' Court apprentices her until she is 16 yo to Daniel Hubbard who is to teach her plain serving & housework & to supply her with suitable clothing & maintenance. At the end of apprenticeship he is to give her $10 & 2 suits of clothing, plus, in lieu of education she is to receive $15 added to her freedom dues. |
