| Transaction Abstract | Harriet Ann Cornish, Negro girl 6 yo on 15 Oct last, comes into Orphans Court & is said to not be at service or learning a trade or employed in service of her parents & is without sufficient means for support. Justices of Court apprentice her to Jacob Willey until she is 16 yo. Willey to teach her service & housework & to supply her with suitable clothing & maintenance and when free to give her $10 & 2 suits of clothes as freedom dues. He also to give her $15 when free in lieu of education as additional freedom dues. Signed 25 May 1857. |
