Transaction Abstract Benjamin B. Harrison indebted to David W. Tyler for $575 from 23 Mar 1857 and in consideration sells the following Negroes: woman Letitia Simms 29 yo, boy Benjamin Simms 12 yo, girl Ellen Simms 8 yo, girl Nanna 4 yo, child Mary Simms 18 mos; all slaves for life and part of the same Negroes that Benjamin B. Harrison conveyed to Reuben Tall by Bill of Sale dated 26 Jan 1850 & recorded in Chattel record Books. If Harrison pays Tyler the $575 on or before 13 April next, then it is lawful for Tyler to sell the named Negroes at public sale at Court House at Cambridge. Any surplus made from sale to be paid to Harrison. Signed 23 Mar 1857.
