Abstract Manumission. William Lane grants liberty and freedom to Joe aged 30, Frank aged 30, Elijah, Betty aged 45, Ben, -Shadrack - both under 30, Lydia 17 year old, Esther aged 16, Abner aged 46, Milla aged 26, Middlesex aged about 16, also the children of Joan who is aged about 50 - a boy P-- born 9/7/1772, Isaac born 11/20/1777, her boy George born 5/17/1781. Also the children of Betty - Levin born 2/1/1782, Tabitah born 3/8/1778. Also the three children Lydian, Kiah born 11/24/1781 born 11/3/1784 and Betty about 10 months old - all to be free when the arrive at lawful age - the males at 21 and females at 16.
