Abstract Indenture. For 170 pounds all the lands mention in the annexed lease. That Blake shall pay to Stewart 170 pounds on or before 6 July next and then this to be void or Blake to convey to Stewart the full estate. N. B. it is agreed by James Townsend and Levin Blake that the following two Negroes Friday and Tillar shall remain on the plantation whereon Blake now lives and the said Townsend to have the labor and profit of the Negroes if any and in case said Old Friday should prove troublesome and expensive the said Blake doth agree to be at the expense and maintain said Negro Friday and Negro to live on said place if life should last.
